The Little Village Young Leaders Counsel (LVYLC) is a team of 15 young leaders who speak up for our community. Counsel members share ideas, give feedback on local programs, and help decide what our neighborhood needs next. This is a real seat at the table, and a chance to grow as a leader.

    • Your voice. You know what young people in Little Village need because you live it.

    • Your ideas. Fresh thinking is how communities grow.

    • A $50 stipend for every meeting or event (up to $300 total)

    • Leadership training to sharpen how you speak up, plan, and take action

    • Professional experience to add to your resume, work and college applications

    • A strong network of peers and community leaders who believe in you

    • Real influence over the programs and resources in your neighborhood

    • Young leaders ages 14 to 21

    • Leaders ready to show up for all 6 meetings from OCT - DEC 2026

    • Meeting 2: Friday, November 6, 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Cardenas, 2524 S Central Park

    • Meeting 3: Wednesday, November 11, 3:00 to 4:30 PM at Grounded Studio, 3934 W 26th Street

    • Meeting 4: Wednesday, November 18, 5:00 to 6:30 PM at Grounded Studio, 3934 W 26th Street

    • Meeting 5: Wednesday, December 2, 5:00 to 6:30 PM at Grounded Studio, 3934 W 26th Street

    • Meeting 6: Wednesday, December 9, 5:00 to 6:30 PM at Grounded Studio, 3934 W 26th Street
