Born within The Alliance 98, Momentum captures the energy of our neighborhoods while elevating stories that resonate across Chicago and beyond.
Anchored in Moments Media, Momentum is driven by movement — the urgency to create, connect, and document in a world where too many stories are overlooked or erased. Our work lives in the present moment, tracing culture as it unfolds and pushing toward what’s next.
We see storytelling as a practice, not a product. Through visual essays, conversations, profiles, and features, we explore creativity, identity, and culture with intention and care — always rooted in community.
