Our fiscal agency program supports both emerging initiatives in need of incubation and established projects that want to stay focused on impact rather than administrative overhead. Through TA98, projects gain access to the financial, operational, and organizational infrastructure required to receive grants, manage funds responsibly, and grow sustainably.

Fiscal agency at TA98 is not transactional.
It is a partnership rooted in shared values, accountability, and movement-building.

Our Approach

TA98 practices movement-building fiscal agency — an approach that centers trust, capacity-building, and long-term impact. We work alongside projects to strengthen leadership, systems, and sustainability, while ensuring funders have a compliant and reliable pathway to invest in community-driven work.

What We Support

Projects considered for fiscal agency must:

• Align with TA98’s mission and advance community power or systems-level change

• Address root causes of inequity (education, economic mobility, health, housing, or civic engagement)

• Have a clear project plan, leadership capacity, and a one-year budget

• Demonstrate readiness to steward funds responsibly in partnership with TA98

We do not fiscally sponsor projects that exclusively provide direct services without a broader power-building or systems-change strategy.

Financial Structure

TA98 retains a 15% administrative fee to offset costs.
