Mi Quiroga

Centro de Emprendedores Jose Manuel

Project Leader: Rojas, Francisco (19)

El Centro de Emprendedores Jose Manuel is a learning center in the bustling market town of Quiroga, 25km northeast of Pátzcuaro and 8km beyond Tzintzuntzan.

Every day there’s a busy market of artesanías (artifacts) on Avenida Vasco de Quiroga and the Plaza Principal, with hundreds of stalls and shops selling brightly painted wooden, ceramic and leather goods, as well as colorful woolen sweaters and sarapes, the long, blanket-like shawls worn here.
